Master Zero – 10 Year Limited Warranty

At Master Marble, we want you to enjoy your benchtop for years to come. That’s why every Master Zero mineral surface is backed by a 10-year limited warranty from the date of installation.

Master Marble supplies slab material only. Fabrication, cutting, polishing, transportation, and installation are carried out by your chosen stonemason or fabricator and are not covered under this warranty.

All Master Zero slabs are inspected before leaving our warehouse. Once the slab leaves our premises, Master Marble has no control over transportation, fabrication, handling, or installation processes.

By following the recommended care, handling, and maintenance guidelines, your Master Zero surface can provide many years of performance and enjoyment.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in Master Zero mineral surfaces supplied by Master Marble.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Master Marble may, at its discretion:

  • Replace the defective material
  • Repair the material where appropriate
  • Refund the original purchase price of the material

This warranty applies to material only and does not cover fabrication, removal, installation, transportation, or any associated labour costs.

This warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Fabrication, installation, polishing, cutting, or workmanship issues carried out by third parties
  • Damage caused during transportation, handling, storage, or installation after the slab leaves our warehouse
  • Outdoor applications, BBQ areas, fireplaces, pool surrounds, or areas exposed to excessive UV or weather conditions

Natural Variation Disclaimer

Master Zero surfaces may contain slight variations in colour, pattern, veining, shade, and finish between slabs and batches. These variations are considered a normal characteristic of the product and are not covered under warranty.

Bookmatched and vein-matched slabs may not align perfectly from slab to slab, and minor variation is considered acceptable.

Any visible defect or concern must be reported prior to fabrication or installation. Claims made after fabrication or installation for visible issues may not be accepted.

Natural Stone Disclaimer

Natural stone products supplied by Master Marble are not covered by a warranty.

Natural stone is a product of nature, meaning every slab is unique and may vary in colour, veining, movement, pattern, texture, density, and finish. Natural characteristics including fissures, pits, pores, resin fills, vein lines, and batch variation are considered part of the material’s natural beauty and are not regarded as defects.

As Master Marble supplies slab material only, we are not responsible for fabrication, installation, transportation, sealing, maintenance, or application suitability once the slab leaves our warehouse.

We strongly recommend that the purchaser and/or stonemason inspect and approve the slab prior to collection, fabrication, or installation, as no claims can be made after the material has been fabricated or installed.

Natural stone requires ongoing care and maintenance, including sealing where applicable. Performance and longevity will vary depending on the stone type, application, usage, and maintenance practices.

Care & Maintenance

To keep your Master Zero surface looking its best:

  • Always use a chopping board — never cut directly on the surface
  • Use trivets or heat mats under hot pots and appliances
  • Wipe spills immediately, especially strong-coloured substances
  • Clean daily using a pH-neutral cleaner or Master Zero Spray Cleaner
  • Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products
  • Do not sit, stand, or place excessive weight on the surface

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect:

  1. Contact Master Marble within 28 days of noticing the issue
  2. Provide proof of purchase, photos, and a detailed description of the problem
  3. Ensure the surface has not been altered, removed, or repaired before assessment

Master Marble reserves the right to inspect the material and determine whether the issue falls within the terms of this warranty.
